Bags with Plastic Insert Fronts

Drawings etched into a sheet of foam rubber using a bone folder are used as a printing plate. Black acrylic paint is brushed onto the printing plate and a print is made onto rainbow paper. The piece of art is inserted into the bag's plastic insert front.

1. Use a bone folder or a knitting needle for etching a design into a sheet of foam rubber (remember to write text backwards).

2. Apply a coat of glossy black acrylic paint with a flat foam stencil brush. Do not use too much paint.

3. Press the foam rubber sheet onto the rainbow paper.

4. Insert the decorated piece of paper into the bag's transparent plastic front.
